“He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?”
Micah 6:8 NKJV
Being faithful and a believer
Wow, today’s scripture is particularly impactful to me. It says it all in these times, does it not? For me, being faithful and a believer, it says it all. I have seen the proof of God in so many ways. From sparing my life on several occasions to providing my heart’s desire throughout my life.
Beginning with today’s scripture, I felt God’s love and ministering to me all day; through music played on Family Life Radio, interactions with my brother and husband, even being called to work unexpectedly. It builds my faith.
Having Faith and being a believer is to me,
among other things, the ability to not worry because you know a higher power is in control. The King James Bible says not to fear 88 times. Being faithful I know there is nothing I can do to alter the course of things. We are all on a predetermined path and so is the course of this world. My life is saved by grace, so I know I have ever lasting life. Faith re-enforces that, making my life worry free and less complicated. In my every day walk in life I hope that I am humble in the eyes of my God, love mercy and do justly.
Faith simplifies the recognition of life’s miracles, ranging from minor ones that assist us through challenging days, to significant ones that facilitate healing, forgiveness, and closure. I firmly believe it was a small miracle from God that guided me to my occasional counselor and dear friend, fostering a profound friendship that is rare in one’s lifetime. I am immensely thankful for experiencing it at least once in my life.
Faith enables
Being a believer and having faith enables God to work through you in so many ways. Today he enabled me to be called unexpectedly to work and still find solace in getting the job done. I also crossed paths with likeminded people who also have their lights shinning. A productive day all the way around. One I would not have had the pleasure of enjoying otherwise.
I am thankful for being saved by grace and thereby a believer in God! And being faithful, I live my life as best I can, not infringing on others who want to live their lives their way. I just hope my life has a positive impact on others.
BTW: The featured image is a storm cloud trying to form. To me it looks like God’s exclamation point, faith. It never did storm.
