Summers end

Summers end

End our season of fun in the sun, its winding down.

My favorite time of the year is set to begin.

Leaves will fall, the sky will change,

cold, damp weather will set in.

Soon after the snow will cover the ground.

and we’ll hear the howling wind,

that announces the seasons pending exchange

the winter white’s end.

Once again spring will abound,

the cold rain turns to spring showers again.

Bouquets of flowers will arrange

under the sun until summers end.
