Sweet Parallel paths
One thing about my recent surgery is that my husband has been there/done that. Not the bone shortening, but the cast wearing. We are forming a sweet parallel of experiences and appreciations. Through the swelling he was making sure I kept a cold pack on the surgery location. Afterwards he answered all my questions on what to expect when getting a cast.
When you think, like I do, that God himself brought us together and created the union between my hubby and myself, then you come to appreciate the similarities and closeness between you and your spouse. Sharing birthdays; likes and dislikes; same interests; same mishaps.
Hubby’s cast was on his right hand, my cast is on my right hand. Just another thing he and I will share and have in common.
We have a lifetime to parallel each other and I’m looking forward to it!
