athletic cleaning yields clutter

Written by lam0beaner

First, my heart goes out to those who lost their lives and were injured in the senseless shooting in Las Vegas. Makes no sense.

Today is my birthday, and first day of retirement. I enjoyed staying in bed until 10:00 am when my brother came down to wish me happy birthday. After that I began reading about Las Vegas. So sad.

I ate my cereal per usual and studied our kitchen, which I turned into a total wreck yesterday. Today I plan to get it straightened out. I began with athletic stamina. Attacking the dishes first, I cleared the counter of the clutter. athletic cleaning yields clutter

So much work, athletic cleaning yields clutter

Taking frequent breaks from the primary task, I accomplished a load of laundry and shared the white chicken chili with my brother and neighbor. By the time 4:00 pm rolled around, I wasn’t even close to being done, and hubby would be home soon. It was worse than I thought.

When hubby called me from work at lunch time, he said it was kind of nice having the table out of the kitchen. We have a large living room and I told him I could cut the living room in half and put it in 1/2 of the living room. So we’re going to try that. A plan for me to do tomorrow.

So little time

Tomorrow I have a dentist appointment so will be working around that. Wednesday I will be taking our male kitten in to get neutered. Thursday and Friday I don’t think I have anything going on. But, I certainly don’t want to have to work on the same area for two days!

Well, anyway, the picture below is what’s going to have to do for now. My mom says too much clutter. At this point I have to agree! Athletic cleaning yields clutter!
